Generator or Alternator ?
[edit]seeing as the GM10B is an electric locomotive using overhead wires to provide traction current wouldn't it use an alternator to convert it's traction current for the traction motors.
I ask as the info box states it has an EMD produced engine-generator set which is unlikely as that would mean the GM10B is a dual power locomotive.
is anyone able to shed some light on this and possibly alter the info box to match ?
